What you will like...

On a lucky night, our guests sleep to the sound of the lion and hyena roaring in the Savannah of Queen Elizabeth National Park and always wake up to the beautiful sounds of birds.

Make sure you take some time to wander into the “food forest” along the trails of Elephant Home, while you are here. Tucked around many corners are surprises such as pineapple plants, passion fruit vines, succulent aloe Vera plants and more!

The Elephant Home garden also produces much of our own food that we serve to guests. By adopting the “zero mile diet” principles, we hope to be almost 100% self sufficient in food crops in the coming months and years.

Elephant Home uses many permaculture techniques to keep the land healthy. You can also explore our compost piles to see how we build our own rich composted soils.

Elephant Home is committed to protecting and rebuilding our environment. We understand that it is our responsibility to give back to the land by nourishing the plants and trees for future generations to enjoy.
